‘ohoro GIN(standard)’ won the ‘Trophy’ for the highest award in the ISC 2024 category!
The International Spirits Challenge 2024,
one of the world’s three major spirits competitions, was held on September 27th,
2024(Japan Standard Time).
This is the second time this year that our gin has won the highest award in its category
at an international competition,
Following the World Gin Awards 2024(WGA) held in this February.
The ISC is an international spirits competition held once a year by Drinks International,
a UK-based magazine specializing in liquor information.
This year was the 29th edition.
It is called one of the world’s three major spirits competitions,
along with the International Wine &Spirits Competition and
the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, and its evaluation is
closely watched by people in the spirits industry around the world.
This year, more than 2,800 bottles from over 70 countries were entered
in all 29 categories of spirits.
The judging panel announced that of the 8 categories in the gin category
in the London Dry Gin category,
the top prize in the category, ‘ohoro GIN(standard)’ was awarded Double Gold.
And this time, the ‘Trophy’, the highest award in the gin category,
was awarded among the ‘Double Gold’ in all 8 categories in the gin category.
Jiro Nagumo, CEO, who attended the ceremony, expressed his pleasure and gratitude
for the award as follows.
‘We are pleased to announce that our ‘ohoro GIN’ has won the ‘Trophy’
at the International Spirits Challenge(ISC).
In this February, it was also honored to receive the ‘World’s Highest Award’ at the WGA 2024.
I would like to thank all our employees who have worked with us to achieve this honor,

Our ‘ohoro GIN’, launched three years ago, is the product of our challenge and passion,
and we are very proud of the worldwide reputation it has received.

‘ohoro GIN (standard)’, which is manufactured using Sweet-gale and
Japanese Peppermint grown in Niseko.
It is great honor for all of us to have received the highest award in the category twice,
following the WGA award in this February.
